Martial Yoga: Thoughts for 2021


What did you learn in 2020?

I learned, even more, to focus my attention and energy on things that I under my control, which pretty much summarises to control my mind.

I had one main priority in 2020:

๐Ÿ‘‰To practice more than ever and become a better practitioner

in order to become a better teacher by empowering and guiding others.

Here are my thoughts for 2021:

โ€‹

๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ- Cultivate a healthy mind in a healthy body. Period. (no one can do it for you)

โ€‹

๐Ÿคธโ€โ™‚๏ธ- Mental health and physical health go hands in hands.

โ€‹

๐Ÿง  - Strengthen your immune system, it starts with your thoughts and your mindset.

โ€‹

๐Ÿ›Œ - Forget resolutions, build long-lasting habits, routines or rituals.

โ€‹

๐ŸŒฑ - Celebrate your progress and your growth even the tiniest results.

โ€‹

๐ŸŒณ- Take care of yourself to take care of others.

โ€‹

๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿคโ€๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿฝ- Surround yourself with people who want the best of you and lift you up.

โ€‹

๐Ÿ‘ช - Be present for others, time and attention is the best gift you can give to someone.

โ€‹

๐Ÿ“š- "Love people, use things, the opposite never works" - the Minimalists

โ€‹

๐Ÿ™ - Be grateful for what you have today and strive to work on what you want tomorrow.

โ€‹

๐Ÿ’š- Do what you love and love what you do.

โ€‹

๐ŸŽฏ- Start this thing, activity, practice that is truly important to you and that you have been postponing until now. 'The right moment' is a myth, it is usually an excuse from your ego

โ€‹

๐Ÿง—- Challenge yourself to grow, and lift someone else in your journey.

โ€‹

๐Ÿ“œ- We are capable of much more than we think we are.

โ€‹

๐Ÿฅ‹- Practice, persist, persevere
